Courtney Gibbs, MS, CCC-SLP

Courtney graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011 with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Before settling in Wilmington, NC, Courtney provided speech therapy to patients throughout the life span in various settings (schools, homes, outpatient clinic, hospitals, and nursing homes). Services in the Burgaw area began with providing therapy at Little Town Learning Center and in patient’s homes while working with the CDSA. The substantial lack of services to meet the great need in Pender and Duplin counties was clear. Pender Pediatric Therapy was opened in hopes to alleviate the logistical and financial stress of traveling out of town for quality developmental therapy and support for families. 

Robin Dunbar, Office Administrator

Robin joined the Pender Pediatric Therapy family in June 2017 as the Office Administrator. Robin schedules visits, coordinates referrals, and handles insurance claims. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree, with a major in Medical Office Administration from Cape Fear Community College.  Robin spends her time away from PPT with her two children, one whom is on the Autism spectrum.

Kellie Savard, MS, CCC-SLP

Kellie graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1997 with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Kellie has worked in both Massachusetts and North Carolina in various settings, including acute and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics, sub acute and skilled nursing facilities. She joined the PPT team this summer and evaluates and treats children two mornings per week.
